JadasArtVision (and me!), many thanks, my dears!
The next CW will not be posted on the 24th, as you could expect -- I think that leaving the Wednesday on the 31st of October empty would be a serious waste with this kind of themes we have... so be prepared for a super-duper edition! (I also think that the next theme is pretty obvious, my precious suggesters.)
3 questions to
, a precious spider sculptor!
What is that attracts you to Traditional Art?
I like that I can make something in 3 dimensions. It's tangible. With sculptures, something from fiction almost becomes reality.
When did you start sculpting?
Originally I started sculpting jewelry. After perfecting my technique, I was confident I could sculpt anything I like using metal wire, so I started to sculpt what have been fascinating me since I was a kid: insects. I used to collect them, now I make them!
Why spiders? Did you use to be afraid of spiders before?
Spiders are creepy, they're probably one of the most terrifying kind of creatures and most people dislike them. I think technology is often inspired by nature, so it's fun to imagine their robot version, they would be perfect minions for Villains. If I was a mad scientist living in a hollowed out volcano, I would make myself an army of clockwork steamed powered spiders to conquer the world, muahahaha!
That would be terryfying indeed. Thank you for your answers!
I don't know how you interpret All Hallows' Eve, but here in sweden it's originally a celebration to our loved dead ones. So that's what I will try to find, no pumpkins here
